We’re coming to Bastrop!
WE’RE COMING TO BASTROP! Volt Broadband will soon cover all of the NELPCO member area, but based on initial pre-signup interest, one of our first areas to serve will be the Log Cabin community in Bastrop. Here are recent photos of construction happening in the Log Cabin community. We have crews preparing poles for fiber installation on Fathree Road, and the concrete slab ready for our fiber hut. Fiber huts act as transfer stations which allow us to relay light signals (fiber internet) to each of the individual homes and businesses on our network. The fiber huts are prepared for power failures with extensive back-up systems and emergency generators to ensure that our customers can maintain Internet and phone service.
