Project Update for Friday, September 23, 2022

Volt Broadband has now connected 26 customers in the Log Cabin area on the South Feeder, with another 129 scheduled to be connected as soon as possible. Drop crews are working to get the network interface devices (NIDs) installed at each location that has requested service. The installation crews are following close behind them to install the Wi-Fi routers in the homes.

Construction has been completed on the Log Cabin Bonita Road Feeder, but drop crews are waiting for the splicers to complete their tasks before beginning to install NIDs on this feeder. Splicing should be complete as of the evening of September 23, 2022. The Log Cabin North Feeder is approximately 65% complete for construction and splicing will start Monday, September 26, 2022. Construction crews continue to work in the Baskin area, primarily west of Hwy 425 from Mangham and towards Liddieville.

Make-ready crews are working in the Rayville area to perform work necessary to allow construction crews to install much quicker. This work involves primarily tree trimming.
